Founder
Daniel C. Remer, Ph.D. is a clinical ethicist and transplant professional with more than eighteen years of experience in organ donation and transplantation. His clinical work has been grounded in direct patient care, institutional operations, and ethics committee service — giving him an unusually integrated perspective on how ethical challenges actually present in healthcare settings.
Dr. Remer holds a Doctor of Philosophy in philosophy from Temple University and a Master in Urban Bioethics from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, where his research focused on the ethics of objectification in transplant — examining how donors, organs, and recipients are treated within the structures and practices of the transplant system. That scholarly work informs a consulting practice built on both clinical depth and philosophical rigor.
His experience spans direct clinical practice, quality and safety operations, ethics committee membership, and undergraduate bioethics education. Dr. Remer brings that full range of experience to every engagement with Minerva's clients.
